I am a special needs patients so I need everyone out there who has special needs to understand how much this means to me. This could take a minute. What a great office! Everybody from the front office to dr. Ogletree himself. I needed a neurologist to look at some pictures of a cyst found on my kidney. I needed a neurologist to look over some scans and reports from my in hospital stay. I was admitted in the hospital through ER a few months ago and had some questions about some of the results even though they said it was nothing to be worried about I wanted to be reassured. I didn't give it a second thought. I had been to see dr. Ogletree a few years before. I remembered the professional staff and the kindness and a bedside manners from doctor Ogletree. An appointment was made within a few weeks after I called . I missed my first appointment simply by not being near my phone because I did receive several calls and text messages reminding me of my visit days before and the day of. The staff called me the day after missing my appointment to say you missed your appointment and they were not upset with me. After realizing I had a visual impairment and couldn't find my phone they were very kind and able to fit me in 2 days later even though they are usually a very busy office as my daughter alarm to me of because she did be reviews for me from the website. Scheduling was able to get me in just before latch 2 Days Later. I was so excited but that's just the way I remember Dr Ogletree and his staff. I have not had a doctor's office text you and call you to make sure you answer the phone to confirm your appointment. They even emailed me. I had explained to them that I have visual problems and could not always find my phone so they made sure they did everything they could to help me. When I arrived at the doctor's office then where a few patients in ahead of me and the office staff assured me I would not have that long of a wait. They received the medical records I brought with me. I was assured the doctor needed to look them over BEFORE seeing me. Wow that doesn't happen often before seeing doctors that has not been the case with me for sure. When my daughter reviewed his website it's noted that no patient waited any more than 15 to 30 minutes. They called me back to a room and one of the ladies from the front office for my own privacy was willing to fill the paperwork out for me in the patient room. She didn't make me feel rushed or that I was a bother at all. I don't get that much. Customer service is so important. (The reason more paperwork has to be done as they were using a new system and they wanted to make sure that everything was updated my new meds etc) My consent forms were explained clearly to me before I signed. Dr. Ogletree explained everything from the hospital visit, reassured me that the findings were in my favor and he made himself available for me anytime I had any questions. dr. Ogletree's office was very thorough from the front desk to the back I felt very comfortable and reassured. I know that other people that see him feel the same way. Each of the staff members are equally personable professional and competent. All doctors offices should run so well. His staff actually requested a Lyft driver for me and walked me to the Lyft car. His staff members took the time. She made sure that it was the right driver and that he knew who I was so that I could feel safe leaving there to return home safe. It is important when you have special needs for an office to be willing to do and go above 100% for you. I highly recommend Dr Carl Ogletree. Thanks dr. Ogletree and staff. Many blessings to you.
